[Draft report]  Peer cities plans for the renovation of social housing neighbourhood

Transforming social housing communities to inclusive, sustainable neighbourhoods is the focus of the drOp project. In task 4.4, peer cities received assistance in developing long-term replication ambitions and a strategy and action plan which includes design and co-creation plans for the district, analysis of project financing, identifying solutions or technologies to be integrated into the smart energy community in the future.

As such, this deliverable presents the peer city strategy plans for the renovation and rejuvenation of their respective neighbourhoods: Spine Bianche in Matera, Italy and Nooruse in Elva, Estonia. Both peer cities applied a participatory approach in compiling the strategy, while using the tools and methodologies from the drOp project and learnings from the demo city, Ermua in Spain.

The two strategy plans highlight the different contexts of the peer cities and demonstrate how the drOp methodologies were applied in creating them.
