[Report] Integrated Methodology for Social Housing Neighbourhood’s Renovation: concept

The Integrated Methodology Renovation for Social Housing Neighbourhood(IRM) to transform social housing districts into inclusive smart neighbourhoods is a phased process that intends to support the cities in their processes to regenerate social housing neighbourhoods.

Outlined in this report is the conceptual definition of IRM, which aims to redefine social housing districts into inclusive smart neighbourhoods. The completion of the IRM will benefit from a complete implementation in the Santa Ana neighbourhood in Ermua and will be described in an updated version of this report. Aiming to reshape social housing districts, fostering inclusivity, smart technology integration, social innovation, and local economic development, the IRM will step forward to effectively achieve and implement this concept within our social housing communities.

To address this inquiry, the drOp project scrutinizes planning, implementation, monitoring, and replication efforts, drawing insights from a three-year ongoing process in the Santa Ana neighborhood in Ermua (SP) and a peer learning initiative in the cities of Elva (ES) and Matera (IT).
