[New video] Home & Community: Renewal of Nooruse

The Horizon drOp project combines the renovation of residential quarters and their accessibility with innovative digital solutions, social innovation, and local economic development. The goal of the project for Elva is to develop a comprehensive renovation methodology for the Nooruse apartment building area, based on which the area should become a smart “district,” with better urban space quality, accessibility, and quality of life for all residents.

The new video by the drOp partners in Estonia—Elva Municipality/city of Elva, the Institute of Baltic Studies, and the Estonian Union of Co-operative Housing Associations—will introduce the drOp pilot in Elva city and will give you a glimpse of the Nooruse neighbourhood with the help of the residents.

The video was filmed by the Estonian Union of Co-operative Housing Associations during a workshop with the residents of the Nooruse neighborhood in August 2025.
